What exactly does Clomid do?
Clomid is also referred to as clomiphene citrate. It is an oral medicine which is often used to treat the symptoms of female infertility.
How long does it usually take to get pregnant on Clomid?
If you have problems with ovulation, Clomid offers you an 80 per cent chance of ovulation, usually in just the first three months. Due to this boost in ovulation, most females have a 50% chance of getting pregnant within the first six months after starting Clomid.
When should Clomid be taken?
Clomid is usually taken for five days, starting on the 5th day of your menstrual period. Follow the instructions of your doctor. Before each treatment cycle, you will need to have a pelvic exam. You must remain under the care of your doctor while you are taking Clomid.
Does Clomiphene Increase Estrogen?
Yes, clomiphene may increase estrogen in women by impacting several hormones which trigger estrogen production in women.
